How it works

One record, from toile to In Store.

Every style moves through the same nine stages. Toile shows each person what they own, and blocks the two steps that cost money until the right people have signed off.

CH. 01Develop

Design opens a style on a construction and adds colourways. The Spec Sheet builds itself from the record, goes to the factory, and comes back as Proto R1, then R2, with comments on each round.

  • 01Design
  • 02Proto R1
  • 03Proto R2
  • 04Construction approved
Design
Opens styles and colourways, attaches sketches and materials, validates the R2 corrections.
Product
Approves the Spec Sheet, reviews each proto round, approves the construction.
Buying
Sends the approved Spec Sheet to the factory.
Factory
Uploads photos and comments from the factory portal on a phone.

CH. 02Seal

The sample is sealed once Design, Product and Buying have each approved it: it becomes the reference every later sample is checked against. Construction, last and materials lock.

  • 05Sample sealed
Buying
Validates the Cost Sheet (materials, labour, margin), then approves the sample on cost.
Product
Approves the sample’s construction.
Design
Approves the sample’s look.

Gate · before sealing

A Cost Sheet validated by Buying. Until then the seal button shows what is missing and who owns it.

CH. 03Produce

The factory makes a pre-production sample. When it is approved and Finance has recorded the deposit, the production order opens and the factory sees its quantities, sizes and ex-factory date.

  • 06PPS
  • 07Production
Product
Validates the PPS and runs the production stages.
Finance
Confirms the factory deposit.
Commercial Ops
Adds the factory’s tracking, books shipments and carrier labels.

Gate · before production

An approved PPS and a Finance deposit. Enforced on the server, so no screen or API call can skip it.

CH. 04Sell

Wholesale orders arrive from Joor as drafts to confirm; DTC runs through Shopify. Delivered stock is allocated to orders and goes In Store. Founders get a weekly digest, not the alerts.

  • 08Delivered
  • 09In Store
Sales
Builds linesheets, works the CRM pipeline, records in-store sales.
Commercial Ops
Confirms Joor drafts, receives deliveries and allocates stock.
Founder
Reads the weekly digest, and drills down only when a decision needs them.
